Located on Sand Mountain, in small town Geraldine, Alabama; DeKalb County, 4S Farms is owned by Bobby and Vickie Satterfield, and their sons, Jason and Joby, since 2006. They are all members of the DeKalb Cattlemen's Association, the Alabama Cattlemen's Association, the Alabama Beef Cattle Improvement Association, and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
The goal of 4S Farms is to produce cattle that will be successful for both the purebred and commercial farmer. Our cattle are based on Santa Gertrudis, Hereford and Red Angus genetics, with both registered and Star Five animals available. We feel these breeds provide characteristics that are necessary to be productive with southern climate challenges, as well as providing the quality carcass standards demanded by today's consumers.
